  4. Hare Hook Rug Kit (completed) for a foot stool.
These days about a dozen of us (also two children) meet and make rugs at the British Hotel in Deloraine every Thursday morning. That's where the action is now as we only occasionally meet at etc these days. Laura & I have Hook Rug Kits still available. I nearly sold one to a blind woman this week.

  7. I've decided its time to reduce my wool store in the attic. There are some lovely grey shades of $25 hanks available this Autumn. Please tell your hooking friends! I want to reduce the stockpile in case the mice decide to nest in this cosy space.

We are pleased to welcome some new Hookers to the British Hotel on Thursday mornings this season.

  9. Lasting Impressions Letterpress Tasmania
    Over 8,000 page views

Here is a neo-polaroid photo of our studio in the countryside. We are looking forward to beginning a Letterpress poetry project after our next big cleanup. There is no rubbish collection service deep in the forest of Elizabeth Town so Den has bought a big ute to do the job with. We hope to not bring home too much recycled furniture from Trash Transformers!

As well as teaching & blueberry picking (& eating), I am involved with the Happy Hookers who meet monthly at etc & weekly at the British Hotel. Den & I have a lovely time together at the monthly Deloraine Market where we sell our hand printed cards & talk about Hook Rugs & Dancing Bears. Have you seen any lately? They are balancing on the tip of their toes in Tasmania recently.

  10. Portrait by John Lamp
This season is a busy time in the Northern Tasmanian countryside. I am a Duck Farmer, Blueberry Picker, Printmaker & Teacher so ready for the year to unfold. Not a lot of time to make rugs lately except at the British Hotel on Thursday mornings.

Thank you Lampy for entertaining the Happy Hookers yesterday morning. Geocaching may take off in Deloraine soon!

Also thank you for the portrait you took of me the other night with your new digital programe.
